Seemed like a decent enough dentist. Still got 4 more kids that need seen. However he acted like he was super rushed.... They came in for a cleaning and an exam. As a nomad mom of 6 I've been to my fair share of pediatric dentist across the USA. This is one of the lowest three I ever been. I'll get my childrens cleaning here but won't be fixing no teeth they say needs fix. I'll go to My Kids Dentist out in Humble a nd pay out of pocket for it. He suggested a root canal and cap on a 6 year old! Are you crazy? If the tooth had a cavity cap it, don't mess with it and it will be fine tell it falls out. He reminds me of the awful dentist at Crosby Dental but not as bad lol.read more

Dr Tran and his staff are AWESOME!!My prior dentist in Webster (NOT so great) I was a little hesitant changing dentist... and trying out a new dental office…SO HAPPY I did. I went to Santa Fe Smiles because they were close and easy to get appointments scheduled. They told me I had 4 cavities... since the last time I was there (6 months ago) all on my front teeth. They told me I needed to take care of them right away. I made the appointment but chickened out at the last minute because I just had a bad feeling about the whole thing. I made another appointment.The regular dentist was on vacation. The fill-in, hesitantly, recommended I wait to do anything because they were so small. It was not worth it to invade the integrity of the teeth. I left without any procedures. I found a new dentist. He told me that there was no way I should do anything about these cavities right now. Shame on these people! These are my front teeth. I've had a lot of dental work in my life (due to a medical issue) and the idea that they would put me through unnecessary procedures for money is disgusting!!!! They were willing to risk my smile, that's truly shameful. It's their job to improve smiles!!!read more

Best experience at a dentist I think I’ve ever had! I was in extreme pain and they got me in within 1 hour. The staff... was very pleasant and caring as I was really scared and in pain. Dr. Tran is awesome and made me feel very comfortable which helped me relax. I had to have 4 extractions which he did painlessly and so fast. Usually I have agood experience here however this time I felt rushed .The dentist had horrible bed side manner made me... feel like I was just an annoyance as if he had other more important patients to get to , also the front desk staff drag their feet when sending Rx to the pharmacy. I was mildly concerned after reading reviews about Santa Fe Smiles but I still decided to see for myself. I felt like... the service of the young ladies in the front office was wonderful! They were sweet, caring, and knowledgeable. The Orthodontist on duty was great! He was very straightforward with me, which is the best way to go when it comes to time and money. My 83 year old mother just moved here from Florida, and has a medical condition which makes her gums very tender, often... breaking out in ulcers and severe soreness. She must have her teeth cleaned every six months, but needs a very gentle hand in the cleaning process. I explained this when I made the appointment. After after numerous appointment reminders either by text, email, and phone calls (which I appreciate, sort of), she arrived and when brought back she told the young lady about her condition. The assistant didn’t even introduce herself, but went on and took x-rays, which was fine. Then Dr. Tran, the dentist, came in, and began looking in her mouth. My Mom also told him about her condition. Well, Dr. Tran proceeded to do her cleaning, when she was expecting a hygienist… He was very rough, and she told him she was in pain. He continued, and knew by her grimacing, facial and body language, that she was having much discomfort. She suffered through when at a little over half done, she told him to stop. She told him he was butchering her gums. He replied that he was only trying to get underneath her gums. She told him you can’t get underneath her gums. She had to pay full price ($99.00)- no dental insurance. They asked if she wanted to make another appointment to have the rest of her mouth cleaned… well, absolutely not. She will not, absolutely not, be going back there.read more

When SFS originally opened, I was their very 1st patient. I had been looking for a dentist and couldn't wait for them... to start seeing patients. I have never had any issues with the staff or dentists.My most recent visit was nothing less than expected...Dr. Tran is a very friendly, compassionate and personable dentist. I went to Santa Fe smiles to get a second opinion on a cavity my daughter had. My pediatric dentist suggested IV... sedation which I was not fond of, and the quote was outrageous. We went to Santa Fe Smiles and they filled the cavity that same day, no issues, and used laughing gas, instead of sedation. The majority of my bill was covered by insurance and my child never had to be sedated. We had a wonder experience from the phone call booking the appointment, to the way out the door. We are certainly switching our entire family’s care to Santa Fe Smiles!read more

I Went to Santa Fe smile store in Santa Fe Texas. The staff was professional. I had a tooth that was so loose and the... dentist (New), looked in my opinion scared. As I’ve read through all the reviews and it seems there’s only very few with bad experiences. I won’t say this was a... “bad” experience and I’m not a vindictive person. I just want to tell what happened when I took my mentally challenged daughter (she’s 57 years old), here to the dentist~~at this location, there’s another in Alvin.I won’t go into all the details, but she hadn’t seen a dentist for about 2 years because we’d moved from Louisiana to Texas. She was in much need of teeth cleaning. After X-rays (?) were done I was called back to discuss what was needed~~7 fillings and 4 crowns to the tune of $3700.00. Needless to say I was shocked!That evening when I was helping her with teeth brushing I PLAINLY SAW ALL THE PLAQUE STILL THERE‼️ Needless to say I was very upset. The next day I started looking for another dentist.I found another dentist and inquired about how they did things. It seemed right to me. We went there and she again had X-rays~~the full head kind. Later my daughter told me “the other dentist put X-ray lots of things in my mouth”. After the “proper” X-rays were done I was called into the room to consult with the dentist. I was told she had very good strong teeth. They needed cleaning but there were no cavities. I asked about crowns and he said “maybe years down the road”. Her teeth were DEFINITELY CLEANED PROPERLY~~there was absolutely no plaque left.I’m not saying everyone in this office are bad~~but I did find the front desk was not helpful. Perhaps, some dentists in this office do their job properly and honestly and some do not. I certainly WILL NOT bring her back here.read more

They did a wonderful job. I had a three unit bridge done on my front teeth and you can't even tell they're not my real... teeth, they look very natural and I am more than pleased with the work. I don't have insurance so I called around and they were the cheapest place I could find. I am currently in process of having the rest of my dental work done with them. I’ve been having such horrible experiences getting work done at a dental office and let me tell you . I was soo pleased... with everybody at this office that they made me feel so comfortable. Great dentist and staff, make you feel welcome. They are willing to explain anything that you need an explanation for,... and not make you feel like you’re being an inconvenience. Play area is great too. They also have water and coffee for you. The place is clean as well and never crowded.read more

This place is amazing! My son was scared of the dentist the staff Maggie and Angelica was so gentle with my son. They... showed him everything that they were doing. Dr. G was very friendly and he was laughing with my son to ease his fear of being at the dentist. Jazmin and Lynn were very professional and very friendly. I would recommend this place to my friends and family. Most definitely coming back here with my other kids and husband.read more

Great staff very attentive from the moment I walked in. My deep cleaning went great the assistant Angelica I believe... was very knowledgeable and explained what my treatment was going to be. First time visit here. Very please with how fast we were able to get an appointment set up for same day. We were seen... at appt time did not have to wait. The folks here are very nice, the atmosphere is pleasant and they have a great space for kids. Will definitely come back and would recommend to others.read more

Today was my first day coming to Santa fe Smiles and it was such a great atmosphere! the office staff are so friendly... and so patient with my 2 boys! the office set up is very child friendly they have a whole room set up for kids with TV so many toys and slides!!! best dentist office ever!!!
