Our dentists very carefully decide when and what kinds of radiographs are taken for patients. Radiographs are x-ray images that are used in combination with low radiation levels in order to capture images of hard-to-see areas of your mouth, such as the interior of your teeth and gums.

Intra-oral Camera

Intra-oral cameras provide clear, defined and enlarged images so that minute details that may be missed by standard mirror examinations may be detected. An intra-oral camera is a very small device that enables our dentists to be able to see clear and precise images of the patient’s mouth, teeth and gums. Our dentists use this technology to help properly make diagnoses, and enhance their understanding of our patients’ diagnoses.
